Metal Ceiling Security Systems

The Defender system is designed to provide limited security in a heavy duty 15/16" lay-in T-Grid for a 24" x 24" or 24" x 48" module.  Typically Defender panels are manufactured in 18-24 gauge galvanized steel or .040" aluminum.  1" up-turned legs are formed at 67 degrees to lock under the bulb of the main and cross tees.  A low gloss baked white polyester paint is standard, however, other finish options are available.

The Concealed Grid Snap-In Security Panel is manufactured from 20-24 gauge steel or .040" aluminum or 24 gauge stainless steel in 12" x 12", 12" x 24", and 24" x 24" sizes.  Panels with 1 1/4" up-turned legs and a continuous bead on all four sides snap into 26 gauge electrogalvanized steel snap-bar are then secured to adjacent panels and suspension system with a special security clip providing a high level of security.

Our Security Plank ceiling features a perforated or unperforated heavy duty Acoustical Security Plank system made of 20 gauge to 16 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel.  The Security Plank is painted with white polyester after perforating and forming in 12 inch up to 24 inch widths, in lengths up to 10 feet.  Heavy duty 16 gauge wall molding and T-grid suspension make a very secure installation for prison cells and holding areas.

Perforated panels with acoustical in-fill can significantly reduce random noise, attaining N.R.C. up to .95 and sound attenuation values of a C.A.C. Of .45 D.B. in all three security panel types.
