Suspended Linear Wood Ceilings

Along the length of each cliprail – guarantees perfect field spacing of the boards. The visual placement of the clips shows the contractor where penetrations of other ceiling components will occur – thereby providing options to make adjustments that will improve the visual appearance while also saving time and money

Installation of the Linear Wood Ceilings remains easy and rapid for the contractor. The heavy-duty cliprails provide more rigidity while being suspended, and maintain the low installation cost. No crossrails are needed; and the clamping tool permits high production rates. Linear Wood Ceilings offers the service of factory-curving of cliprails for specific needs such as barrel vaults, transitions, etc. The Soundproof Ceilings team of experienced personnel is available to assist our clients in all phases of the design, engineering, and manufacturing of wood ceiling projects.

Cliprails are rated ‘heavy-duty’, and provide more stability under a variety of conditions. This allows the Linear System to meet stringent specifications. The patented factory attachment of the clips onto the cliprail is unique with Rulon.

Deep tangs on the patented clips permit increased penetration into grooves on the backside of the wood strips – yielding a positive grip. The clip design minimizes lateral movement of each board from temperature or moisture changes.

Rulon standard module is a 4 1/2" wide Open System and a 4" wide Closed Shiplap System – with all wood maintaining a 5/8" thickness. Both styles to have random-length boards, which provide the most pleasing appearance over wide areas. Fixed lengths, without tongue-and –groove ends, are available in short-run areas in lengths up to 10’.
