what is the best way to get surface mildew off ceilings in the bath?
Our 1 bath has 3 people and there is surface mildew on the ceiling above the shower. There is no mold/mildew in the inner part of the ceiling, just the paint.
I have repainted the bath with that "none mildew" paint...
I clean it with the Tilex Mildew cleaner and even just straight bleach often.
Does this sound like something where I'll have to keep up on it?
Thank you for your help and enjoy your day.
Answer: if you have a bathroom fan be sure to cut it on when taking showers this will help relieve some of the moisture that is feeding the mildew, if you have a window open it, i know in the winter it is hard to do this so you will most liekly have to bleach the spots away, they will go away, nd youw ill have to keep this up until you can help the moisture situation, i lived in a 1903 victorian (no bath fans) just a window, and when i had lots of company over taking showers the ceiling would get wet and mildew within a week. if i had a fan it would have helped this because it sucks the moisture out. always cut the fan on when showering!!!! or you will have to keep bleaching the spot
