How high, typically, are the ceilings of 18th century New England buildings?
Standard 8 foot or high ceilings? I'm a researching for a book and need to mention the height of the ceiling in passing...
Answer: It would depend ENTIRELY on the type of building.
A "working man's" home would have lower ceilings than a, well, "society" home. Factories/stores would be different again.
Your question it too vague for a concrete answer.
