What produces bubbling paint on ceilings?
In the past few weeks I've noticed bubbling paint in both my bathroom and basement; just wondering how and why this occurs and what I can do to prevent further bubbling.
Answer: Besides roof and plumbing leaks you could have issues with warm moist air condensing creating the bubbles. You may have some serious ventilation issues.
We all produce moisture from typical perspiration, exhaling, bathing, cooking, etc. You may need to look at attic ventilation to assure your not trapping the warm moist air that can condensate.
